Be Prepared

The boy scout motto is “Be Prepared.” Coaches try to prepare their athletes for every contingency — onside kicks, two minute drills, fake punts, etc. This is but one example of being prepared.
Most don’t consider prayer, meditation, and worship as preparation, yet it is.
Life goes on as if nothing special is happening, and then, just like that, everything changes.
If prayer, meditation, and worship are part of your regular routine then when the dam breaks you’ll be ready.
An ordinary day should not be be mistaken for predictable permanence. Be alert and be prepared.
