Meditation On Evil

Every now and then we can’t get a wrong done to us out of our head. We begin to focus on that individual that did us wrong and we begin to think of all the wrongs he/she did to us and others. Soon we are convinced that person is evil, and our dislike for him/her overtakes us.

Meditation and prayer can end that cycle. Instead of trying to put that person out of our head, put him?her right in front of your meditation, but instead of focusing on what he/she did to you, focus on the one quality you see in that person.
Everyone has a soft spot where one’s behavior mirrors that of a Godly person. Picture that individual at his/her very best, and as your mind begins to wander away return to the picture of that person at his/her best. Soon our focus is on the good in one, not the bad, and forgiveness can begin.
