Instant Gratification

Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart, and wait for the Lord. — Psalm 27:14

Article after article talk about today’s world of instant gratification. Grandma Danny’s world of “Patience is a virtue’ has been substituted for “I want, and I want it now!”

Thank goodness God doesn’t operate on our current world’s timetable — not even close.
God never has been a source of instant gratification. He teaches us to call on him through prayer, remain strong and patient. A lesson I need to continue to learn and to try to pass on to the grandchildren.
