Everyone is familiar with the phrase “drawing a line in the sand,” so too the concept of “one last chance.”
Grandma Danny take a different position. She writes, “ Always give a fellow another chance when he behaves badly, and still another chance after that. Never draw a line beyond which you won’t allow a friend or anyone else to go.”
Perhaps, the first originates in the brain, and Danny’s originates from the heart.
