Being Loveable

If you would be loved, love and be lovable — Benjamin Franklin
Too often, we think to be lovable we must be physically attractive, cute and witty, and at the same time vulnerable and helpless. None of these describe Benjamin Franklin, except for the witty part.
No, I think Franklin was encouraging each of us to simply be ourselves and comfortable in the skin God provided us.
He also reminds us that a critical part of being loved is to love ourselves. Nothing is more attractive and lovable than a loving and giving personality.
