Never Too Late

It is never too late to be what you might have been.  — George Eliot
Of course the famous author isn’t talking about being a world famous tennis star or Secretary-General to the UN. Most of us weren’t likely to have been that person in the first place, even if it isn’t too late.
I believe the author is talking about the type of person we might have been. Humble rather than full of false pride. Pleasant rather than constantly irritable. Joyful rather than being perpetually sad. The list is different for each of us, and just as possible as the first day we were born.
This morning reflect on the person you might have been and wished to be, and then begin the transformation. It is never too late.
