Opportunity

Over the years, I have talked a lot about how tragedy can be an opportunity, but I don’t think I’ve ever pointed out that it is also an opportunity for God.
First, we recognize that we need help. Whether it is a sickness, a weakness, or circumstance that seems unsolvable, we need to recognize the need for God’s intervention.
Then we must have faith that God will intervene and to find a way to express that faith. Prayer is a way to express our faith, but it is not the only way.
Once we express our faith we have unlocked the storehouse of God’s resources on our behalf. Just stand back and let him do his work.
Our needs are opportunities for God, simply find a way to express that belief and give him a chance to do what he does so well.
