Self-Discipline — With A Little Help

At some point, and today can be that point, we can decide to live the way we believe God wants us to live, no matter how others may react. When I refer to others I don’t just mean other people. I am also referring to our resentments, hates, fears, and pride — they have just a tight a grip on us as any one or group of individuals. To live the way God wants us to live we may have to give up our ways and our standard of living. All we need is self-discipline and a little help from God.
Whether we are successful or not God is pleased and so will we. The attempt in of itself is good enough for God.
