Soft Hands

In many sports requiring the use of hands a quality one seeks to have is soft hands. A football receiver needs hands that immediately reduce the football’s velocity, A golfer wants soft hands that grip a club like a baby bird, etc. Soft hands is a skill that can be taught with hours of practice or the athlete has them naturally. Whatever the way one develops soft hands it is a skill highly sought after and worth all the work necessary to develop the skill.

In life, one is born with a soft heart, or one works to obtain it. Nothing frustrates a stubborn or rebellious world like a soft heart — a heart filled with compassion, grace, and care. A heart that cradles mankind like a wide receiver cradles a touchdown pass.
During your morning prayers or meditation remember to ask God to soften your heart.
