Singing Heart

You  turned my wailing into dancing, you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. — Psalms 30:11-12.

The psalmist sounds like he has met the love of his life and in a way he has. His heart is singing to God.
Many of us have had the experience of being truly in love with another human being. Every moment we are with that person is pure joy. While walking through the park with him or her, one’s heart sings and cannot be silenced.
God’s heart sings to us every day, and invites each and every one of us to experience that same feeling about him. Take a minute to walk with God, delight in him, to love him, and when you do your heart will sing.
