Light and Dark

Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. — Psalms 97:11

Depression inclines us to want to live in darkness. We say we want to stay home. We want to avoid others. It is a disease that thrives best in the dark and when we are alone.
When we have a passion for light depression cannot survive for long. Consider dancing your life always in the light and sunshine, consider inviting another to join you in your dance.
But just as importantly don’t let someone else’s affinity for the dark draw you to darkness as well. Always seek where the light is brightest in one’s life, in one’s faith, and in one’s heart.
