Light

A lot has been written about God and light. For some reason, I was thinking about the subject this morning. Maybe its the contrast between light and dark, but I have come to believe that some of the brightest lights shine when it is darkest. During a tragedy we have learned to look at the light, the heroes, the caregivers, and the kindness. In prison, I found some of the brightest personalities I have ever met. Amongst the torture, pain, and loneliness “people of the light” were always there to keep us all off the edge. God seems to have a way to bring brightness into families, governments, and prisons.

We all radiate light, and part of our call is to bring light into darkness wherever we find it. A positive meditation is to consider a dark place, and ask how you can bring light to it? You’ll be surprised what you may discover.
