Kindness

Grandmother Danny writes in her Bible, “ It is never too soon to be kind, for we never know how soon it will be too late.”

It is not that hard to be kind. A smile as we pass a stranger in the street, a handshake and an introduction to a beggar outside your office building, a thank you to the woman cleaning your hotel room. There are countless ways to fill  your day with kind gestures, and the real beneficiary of an attitude of kindness is you. Soon you start to feel good about yourself, you start to appreciate your environment more, and notice all the people who make your day better and safer. Kindness is contagious as well.
Begin each day of this remaining week with a tiny act of kindness and watch how it grows into who you are. Do it now for you “never know how soon it will be too late.”
