House Of The Lord

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple. Psalms 27:4

Travel to a beach and admire the surf and ocean. Drive to the mountains and drink in their magnificence. Walk in a garden full of flowers and greenery and you realize you already dwell in God’s house. No artist can totally capture the eternal beauty that is this planet we inhabit.

Then consider for just a moment that what appears so totally awesome is solely derived from the invisible spirit which is the source of all this external beauty. These are only drops and streamlets from the source of all creation. Now you know why the psalmist sings that all he seeks is to live in the House of the Lord all the days of his life.

  1. Dear Mr. Hubbell:

I watched your interview on C-Span which led to my buying your new book. It was a great read. I finished in three days. My only criticism is that I found the sex between Jack and Micki a little gratuitous. Anyway, you have a new fan and I look forward to your next book.

    Sincerely, Dave
