Green Pastures

He maketh me lie down in green pastures.   Psalms 23:2

You don’t have to drive to Dallas, Hot Springs, New Orleans and back to Charlotte to recognize the beauty of our country’s landscape. Right outside my window is a bird that sings to me every morning, the sun streams in my small writing office, and through the canopy of trees that adorn my street I admire the bright blue depths of the sky. The night sky unveils infinitesimal worlds and sources of light.

Elizabeth Charles reminds me that should we unfold more and more of God’s universe we would see deeper and deeper into the love which is at the heart of all.
